After more than 30 years as a Secretary or Personal Assistant working in a professional management institute, a worldwide Scripture publishing charity and a Bible Lands travel business – all at Director or Senior Leadership Team level – I have first-hand experience of supporting executives daily facing the challenges of funding constraints, tensions between business and ministry and the difficulties of finding suitably qualified staff sympathetic to the organisation’s work and ethos.
From supporting the organisation of six cruises and liaising with the ship’s Master, Senior Officers and Crew, to project managing Western European language publications from initial market research to distribution via typing and proofing, I enjoy successfully co-ordinating both detail and people.
I’ve recorded Minutes and written papers for a diverse range of Committees as well as at International Conference and Board/Council/Governor level and also supported and built relationships with holiday ministry leaders and with European evangelists representing a wide variety of church affiliations.
Education and Qualifications: A Levels in English, French and History at The Henrietta Barnett Grammar School; Senior Secretarial Diploma from the City of London Polytechnic (now London Metropolitan University); Microsoft Office Plus Diploma with Distinction from Pitman Training; The Accredited Clerk (Hampshire CC/IAM).
