Privacy Policy

I am committed to protecting and respecting your privacy and have developed a Privacy Policy that covers how I collect, use, disclose, transfer and store your information.

What I collect

I collect certain information or data about you when you voluntarily use  In particular, I collect and retain:

  • Upon your agreement, information on how you use the website by using one cookie (Google Analytics).  This data is used to improve the site by monitoring how you use it.
  • The information contained on your business card if we meet through business networking with the potential of working together, or in any enquiry email you send me so that I can respond to your message.
  • Your name, email address, postal address and telephone number in any subsequent communication with you and, upon your agreement, any other details about you and your business/charity/work for the purposes of delivering a tailored Virtual PA and administrative service. 
  • Via Feedburner, your email address if you sign up to receive my blog posts. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to validate your opt-in and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Where your information is stored

I store your information, whenever possible, on secure servers in the EEA.  I have procedures and security features in place to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, and to keep your information secure once I receive it, which are detailed in my Data Protection and Security Policy.

Disclosing your information

I may pass on your personal information if I have a legal obligation to do so.  I will not share your information with any other organisations for marketing, market research or commercial purposes and I do not pass on your details to other websites; the only exception to this is if you wish to use the link on my site to purchase the UK Virtual Assistant Survey from the Society of Virtual Assistants.  

Your rights

You can request details of all the personal information that I hold about you under the Data Protection Legislation.  If you believe that any information I am holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please email me as soon as possible at the address below.  I will correct any information found to be incorrect within 28 days of receipt of that request.  

You are also entitled to request that any data I hold on you is destroyed or erased. I shall review that request and respond within 28 days of receipt. Relevant data for legal, tax and accounting purposes will be retained.
